The Department of Human Resources (DHR) is Georgia’s comprehensive health and social services agency. DHR touches the lives of all Georgians by providing about 80 programs that ensure their health and welfare. The Department’s Division of Public Health (DPH) is the lead agency entrusted by the people of the State of Georgia with the ultimate responsibility for the health of communities and the entire population.

International Life Science Institute Center for Health Promotion is a
non-profit research and education organization dedicated to the promotion of
health in individuals and populations on a global basis. ILSI CHP seeks to
enhance the opportunity for individuals to achieve their full potential
unencumbered by avoidable health problems.
UGA Extension provides research-based information for Georgians on a variety of topics, including child development, family relationships, nutrition, food safety, food preservation, financial management, and housing. UGA Cooperative Extensive collaborates with state and local public health agencies and community-based organizations to implement research-based programs and materials.
Fulton County Department of Health and Wellness mission is to promote, protect and assure the health and Wellness of the people of Fulton County. The Department operates 12 health centers.
